Rocky Leavitt is an internationally ranked 9th degree black belt and holds a Master Instructor licensee in Okinawan Karate. Rocky
Leavitt began his martial arts training in 1974 while serving in the United States Army and has dedicated over 30 years to the study
and practice of all common Okinawan Weapons, Kata and Technique. He has an advanced understanding of each weapon and their kata, and
is the founder of Ken Bu Kai - an association dedicated to the study, practice and continuation of Original Okinawan Karate.
Rocky
excels at all aspects of the martial arts, such as: tuite jitsu (grappling art), kata, bunkai (analytical research of kata), bogu
kumite (full contact fighting), kobujitsu (art of weaponry). Master D'veed Natan, of
Ryukyu Kenpo.org, says Rocky "is one of five
top weapons practitioners in the world. He is well respected and recognized for not only his advanced, unparalleled knowledge,
but also his caring, personal teaching style. Rocky has an unwavering commitment to see all of his students succeed in the martial

Rocky began developing Karobics: Aerobic
Self Defense in the late 70's and has spent many years perfecting and fine-tuning this system to meet the challenge of combining the
strengths of the self defense contained in karate into a fun, healthy workout that will not only sculpt and tone the body, but also
teach the participants how to protect themselves.
