Colette Mandeline Gray, also known as CoCo, was born in Fort Carson, Colorado and raised in the northland area of Kansas City, Missouri. At a very young age she became involved in activities like dance and softball. As the years went by, she became involved in basketball and playing the violin. Although she only stuck with those for about 4 years, she still continued to dance and play softball up until graduation. After graduating from high school, CoCo soon became enrolled in college at Howard University in Washington, D.C. she left there, completing two years, to come back home to Missouri because she wasn't sure what she wanted to pursue in a degree. Once returning home, CoCo began working at the Community Blood Center, and also got back into dancing again with her church. As of now, CoCo plans on going back to school in the spring to finally finish up and get a degree.
